Traditional Balinese Massage
Traditional Balinese massage is one of the island's oldest wellness practices, blending Indian, Chinese and local Balinese traditions. It is a deep full-body massage with aromatic oil: the therapist combines gentle strokes, kneading, acupressure (pressure on active points) and smooth stretching to release tension and restore the body's natural balance of energy.
The treatment is performed by the therapists of Adi Spa Bali — a salon with true Balinese roots, founded in 1998 by I Wayan Adi Sumiran. Its serene, Balinese-style setting makes it easy to slip into complete relaxation and surrender to the hands of an experienced therapist.
How the treatment works
- The session starts with gentle warming movements that prepare the muscles for deeper work.
- The therapist combines kneading, long gliding strokes and point pressure along the lines of tension.
- Aromatic oil is used to nourish the skin and enhance the relaxing effect.
- The intensity is tailored to you — from light relaxation to deep work on tight areas.
