Scuba Diving in Bali with a Russian Instructor

Discover the incredible underwater world of Bali together with the first Russian diving club on the island, operating since 2008. The club is more than just a dive center — it's a tight-knit community of people who genuinely love the ocean, the sun, and this tropical paradise.

Bali diving offers a unique chance to explore vibrant coral reefs, exotic tropical fish, sea turtles, and sunken shipwrecks. Crystal-clear waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, with temperatures around +27–29°C year-round, make every dive comfortable and unforgettable.

Even if you've never tried scuba diving, experienced Russian-speaking instructors will guide you through every step with a thorough briefing and personal accompaniment underwater. All instructions and communication happen entirely in Russian, ensuring complete understanding and maximum safety.

Popular Dive Spots:

  • Blue Lagoon (Candidasa) — a crystal-clear lagoon on the east coast of Bali with rich coral gardens and incredible marine biodiversity. Calm currents and excellent visibility make it a perfect spot for beginner divers.
  • Tulamben–Amed — a legendary coastline featuring the sunken WWII ship USS Liberty. The massive wreck, covered in coral, has become home to thousands of marine species — from tiny clownfish to majestic reef sharks.

The club provides certified, quality-tested equipment to international standards, guaranteed clean air in tanks, and a professional team of Russian-speaking instructors and dive masters.

Frequently asked questions

Travel medical insurance is strongly recommended: treatment at private clinics is paid up front for foreigners and serious cases can need costly evacuation. Choose a policy with medical cover and emergency evacuation/repatriation. If you plan to rent a scooter, check that motorbike accidents are covered — many policies exclude them, and cover usually applies only if you hold the correct licence. Add adventure cover (volcano trekking, diving) if those are on your itinerary. We don't endorse specific products — compare and choose your own.
**Manta rays** visit Manta Point **year-round**, and you can snorkel right alongside them near the surface. The oceanic sunfish (**mola mola**) is most often seen at Crystal Bay in the cold season, roughly **July to October**, and that's more of a diver's sighting. Currents around the island are strong and cold, so go only with a guide and stay in the group.
